Tax-Deductible Status

This fund is registered with the state of AL as a non-profit corporation, in accordance with IRC section 501(c)(3) and is considered a 501(c)(3) public charity by the IRS.

All contributions to the fund are deductible under federal income tax law.

Note that we were originally the Foreign "Evangelistic" Fund but changed the name after a few years.

Larger Donations

You will receive a receipt by mail for donations of $250 or more.

If you donate by mail, in order to receive a receipt, you must include a return address.

Accountability

We are happy to share our year-end balance sheet here: 2018 | 2019 | 2020 | 2022 | 2023

Since its inception in 2006, the FHF has sent 98% of the donated funds (totaling over $450,000) to the people for whom the money was intended. Only 2% has been spent on "overhead" (legal, administrative, and transaction fees). The Directors receive no financial compensation for managing the Fund.
